1990 — PHNOM PENH

The Royal University of Fine Arts

Formal initiation into the classical arts. Specialization in the Neang (female) role under the guidance of the kingdom's masters. A period of rigorous preservation and technical perfection.

2002-2008 — GLOBAL PERSPECTIVE

Fellowships & Academia

Expansion to Wesleyan University (USA) via the Asian Cultural Council. Master’s research at Chulalongkorn University focused on the post-1979 cultural revival. A synthesis of tradition and scholarly inquiry.

The Krud Dance
(Garuda)

A landmark piece merging the soaring weightlessness of classical motifs with the visceral impact of contemporary dance. Premiered on a national stage to critical acclaim.

One Voice
Project

Founder of the (សំឡេងខ្មែរតែមួយ) arts peace movement. A collective effort to unify artistic voices across Cambodia through visionary performance.
